Discussion facilitator/s (for leading dialogue designed by the alliance) - for discussion-oriented alliances that don't offer workshops, these facilitators are not required to be BA moderators
Discussion format designers
Media relations (can be a team or an individual)
o Sometimes a trained Ambassador
o One person may focus on social media
o Others may focus more on email outreach and advertising events
o Some alliances have a role for managing the mailing list. The person in this role may also be the one who manages MailChimp. Sometimes this is handled by the tech lead.)
o Workshop moderators
o Zoom Event Manager (ZEM) (as needed)
o Debate chair (for alliances that host their own debates)
o Other team members who help with designing, planning, and executing of events and workshops
o Helper for in-person events (food and beverages, venue set up and clean up, etc.)
Tech lead (this is someone who knows how to use Action network, MailChimp, Alliance Data toolkit, and maybe marketing technologies, etc.)
Project manager to track progress and status of event requests and delivery
Someone artistic to make flyers and/or power points
Secretary / notetaker
Program Liaisons (with programs like churches, education groups, and other braver partners)
